my cedar fence....it really helps detour thieves too...when they see broad heads stickin out in the alley....it will only cost me whatever 3-5 6" fence pickets cost me.

a rubber cow mat works pretty good. usually the broadheads won't go through it. field points just bounce off of it

I use a big block of styrofoam. I can use it as the target or a can put a target in front of it and use it as a back stop.

Today I used a water heater in my garage.. Not a good idea, I didn't tell my wife why I had to replace the pop off valve..:barmy:

Actually i practice out of my stands. so i guess i use the ground
