Default New to the Archery Game

Alright guys, my buddy let me borrow one of his bows for the archery hunt. All he gave me was the bow, so I need a release, some arrows, and some broadheads. What do you guys recommend? I will be hunting cow elk. I am pretty excited for this hunt, it will be my first big game hunt. I would like to stay fairly cheap, as with recently getting home from a mission and trying to go to school in a month I have a small amount of spending money, but I would also like some bit of quality, Thanks for your help guys.

"I would like to stay fairly cheap"

That aint going to happen..I had a bow given to me and I bought the rest..
It wasn't cheap...Carbon arrows 7-9 bucks a piece { I have 20}
Broadheads Steelforce 30.00 for 3
Drop away rest...100.00
Bow quiver ...20.00
Quick release ..30.00-50.00
target 30.00
Field Points...3.00
SIte..100.00

nearly 400.00 if you only get 10 arrows.

PS IMHO stay away from aluminum arrows..they bend easy..my carbons are on thier 4th year.

things like a sight, rest, release you can buy used online at greatly discounted prices. I personally would buy broadheads and arrows new. You can pick up muzzy broadheads very cheap in comparison to others, and they are an extremely good head. You can get a very good setup for a very good price if you shop around. I sent you a pm
