Two pins for me, one set at 15 yards and one at 25...With multiple pins, I feel like I'm trying to see the deer through a picket fence...

I shoot a 7 pin, I love it for 3D and out west hunting. I spent the last 4 years with a hha single pin and it worked great for treestand hunting in MN. Just does not cut it for me out west. Good luck on your choice, there are so many good sights out there so have fun picking one out.

I shoot a sigle pin slider and it's the best of both worlds as far as I'm concerned. I have marks for 20,30 & 40 so if I'm target shooting I can lock in on a specific yardage. When I'm hunting I lock in at 25 yards and I'm good from 10-35 yards without much hold over or under. IMHO 3 or more pins is just way to much in my sight window.

I have a 5 Pin sight but have removed 3 Pins. I use one for up to 25yards. Then I use the other for out to 37yards

I have only 1 pin. I used to have 4 pins, but I did not like all that clutter in my sight picture. I sight in for 20 yards, and my self imposed shot limit is about 25 yards.

I used Multi pin sights for years but after trying a rear sliding single pin sight, then switching back and forth for a couple of years I can't see myself using anything other than the HHA Optimizer.

To me there are several advantages including instant precise yardage adjustment, and a much better view around 1 pin versus 4 or 5.
