The MQ1. there' ' s an archery (matthews) dealer about 30 miles from where I live.
the owner said he could order me a new one, so I called him back this evenin to ask when it would be in. he said matthews had to special make it, and it would be in his shop in 2 weeks. I didn' t know that matthews would still make the MQ1 for certain people. I' ve called 2 other matthews dealers, and they all told me they couldn' t get them anymore. and a 3rd dealer called them when I was in his shop, and he said the same thing , couldn' t get one. can somebody explain why this one guy can get them, and nobody else can? and have it special made at that!
and the price-- $528.00 not bad for a brand spankin new one.

Bogobble, as long as it' s a new MQ1, who cares
what year it is? It' s a great bow...[:-] It does
seem a little strange that one shop can get one
and others can' t. Like I said, ' as long as it' s new' ,
it' s still the bow you' re looking for.
I paid $550 and no tax for my Q2, right off the
rack, a couple of years ago at a bow shop
out of state. Good deals can be found....
they' re just hard to find
.
Good luck and hope everything works out
for you.

Almost bought an MQ1 a couple of years ago but I could not part with my Martin for hunting. This may sound odd Bogobble but if I was to buy a Matthews the MQ1 would still be my first choice.

well, Bowfanatic, I' ll take the smoke, just as long as it' s a new 2002 MQ1. that' s all that matters.
I could have gotten the q2xl, but just didn' t like the extra weight. with all my accessories, the q2xl would have been a little to heavy for my likin. and I really wadn' t all that impressed with the feel of the draw.
