Quick answer is (as much as possible). But saying that, I hunt on 5ac behind my house to 300 to a farm I lease. Killed decent trophies on both. Depends on how many hunters, type of land, is it a bedding area, whats around it, on and on.

I have seen 500 ac I wouldn't hunt.

I mean are you going to stand in the middle of the field and fling arrows at the deer? Is thier any wooded land? Is it hardwoods? What crops are in the field? Any cows/horses in the field?

If you don't have much cover, all you have is deer traveling to and from crop. All you can do is find trails and do your best. So it doesn't even have hedge rows? If not, ground blind is your only choice.

I have sucessfully stalked up and down corn rows (three rows in) and saw deer going up the side. They feel safe in there.

What is an "acer"? I know I'm alittle older than most on here and probably not down with the new and younger lingo but.....if you are refering to acres I would have to say, whatever it takes to make you happy with where you are and if you like your surroundings.
