This year I changed from my old stand by Easton shafts to a new to me brand. Victory V Force V1's. Their weight tolerances are less than .001 and their strait is .001. They are holding up well and could easily be used for target shooting. They tell me the V3's are approximately $20 cheaper with the same weight tolerance but a strait of .003. I am going to order some more for my self. If you're interested let me know And I'll order extra, and set them up any way you would like including cutting them and installing inserts. I am an arrow builder and you caught me at the right time. If you're interested contact me at: workingman3003@hotmail .com. They give me great prices due to how many I buy. No matter what shaft you buy make sure they fit you and your bow, and try to keep tolerances at or below.003 strt. and .002 weight. Remember a well placed arrow saves a lot of chasing.A good weight for you to hunt with should be between 9.7 grns per inch and 11grns per inch keeping in mind the heavier the arrow the slower and more arch you will be shooting. The lighter the more loss of Kinetic Energy. If you stay between these guide lines you should be doing well. These are the results that have worked the best for me on hogs and deer. Anything bigger I would add weight to my arrows. I've been shooting sticks for over 40 years.
