does anybody know right off hand the bare bow weight of the ultratec and the protec?

This ought to answer any questions on Hoyt products. I realize it is for this years models but there shouldn' t be a significant difference in weight between last years and this years.

...Oops, sorry for fax pau. It must be some kind of secret eh? If that' s the case I would guess it to be over four pounds, probably heavier than the competition, hence the weight omission....I know, a lot of help that is, ... Obviously someone here that has one will know. I' ve got an Ultratec ordered but who knows when it will get here. Sorry I wasn' t any help.

Hoyt Ultratec in the standard configuration(hunting ,model,XT2000 limbs and cam 1/2)weigh in at 3 lb. 15 oz.


The Protec is an even 4 lb.


This is what is listed in the catalog and I am pretty sure I have the standard configuration right.
