I think I have both my bows sold, and I' ve narrowed my choice of bows down to 4 or 5 bows. The MQ1(if I can find a new, or like new one) the darton rampage with the CPS express cam, the PSE Primos STL, or either the ultratec or protec which would have to be a 2002 model, cause I can' t afford the new models. does anybody know where I might be able to get a 2002 MQ1, I think they discontinued them last year didn' t they? it would have to have the straight line max cam on it. surley there' s a pro shop somewhere that would have one left over.
that' s the one bow that I' ve always wanted. I know the Q2XL is similar, but I don' t want the extra weight of the xl.
what do ya' ll think of the bows mentioned above? which would be a smooth, accurate, more forgiving bow of these I mentioned? thanks

I' ve already checked ebay. but I don' t trust them anyway.
XI bowhunter, thanks for the info, and phone #' s.
I just called a bow shop in lousiana, about 20 miles from where i live, and he said he could order a 2002 MQ1, but I got my doubts, because I' ve asked 2 other mathews dealers, and they said they couldn' t get one. so i don' t know.[

he said he could get me one for $528.00. is that a bad price for a new MQ1?
BTW-- I' ve never shot the MQ1. would a 70% letoff, or 80% let off be better with that particular bow?

Bogobble,
my hunting partner shoots a MQ1 and absolutely
loves it. He bought it back in ' 98 when they first
came out. He' s shot every Mathews bow since
and can find no reason to change. He did, however,
go to the 80% let-off this summer and really
likes it.
Don' t know if you' re interrested, but I' ve got a
Q2 collecting dust in at my bowshop. It' s got a
27" draw, so you' d have to change modules.
Not to worried about selling it, just thought I' d
let you know. It' s a 2001....didn' t like the 65/70%
let-off. I decided to go with a ' 03 Patriot....boy,
are those deer in trouble this fall
.
Good Luck

Bogobble,
I found this on one of the other boards I frequent.
I don' t know if it' s still for sale...but probably
worth looking into. He one a MQ1 in a NWTF
raffle and is looking to sell it for $450+ shipping.
