Default Game Camera

I recently purchased my first game camera. I was planning on placing it in an area near my deer feeder. Is there any advise you can give me with regards to camera placement, height from the ground etc? Thanks.

I always try to place mine about waist high on the tree, and make sure not to place it facing the setting or rising sun, it might trip the camera.

I may place mine a tad lower if placing it on the ground but I do always try to point it in a northerly direction.

Just make sure there are no hanging branches or tall grasses in front of it. You will get a ton of pics on a windy day.

Most cameras come with a "red laser" to help you aim your camera at the object(s) you will be getting pictures of.
