Thanks for the replies and advice. I will try " some" of these different tricks to see which one works best.

I may get some weird looks if someone saw me walking around the woods my bow some camo and a tube of ky. I may try the others first and use that one as a LAST resort.

Man this KY thing is getting good, I wonder what a game warden would say if he saw you aproaching your kill with a tube of KY in hand????[:o][:o][:o]

I have encountered that some arrows will begin to get a bit of target build up on them if not kept lubed. I also find the arrows to pull much easier from Rinehart targets and much harder to pull from the Mckenzie targets. We usually shoot two 3D shoots a week so weve had a lot of practice to find what works best for us.
I use a arrow lube tube there are various ones and pvc pipe home made ones etc..... My lube tube is filled with a absorbant dense foam, I fill mine with SPRAY PAM COOKING SPRAY works well for me, and a carved piece of IVORY BAR SOAP IN THE LUBE TUBE works well also.;) A good arrow puller is a good investment also to help in ease for pulling arrows from their targets.

you will find that those arrow tubes are very expensive, around 10 to 15 bucks for just a piece of pvc. This year my buddy made 3 of them for the same price as one in the stores. I twas simple all he did was use some pvc pipe with end caps on each end he only glued one end on while the other end he drilled a hole large enough to fit an arrow through and then took some foam and placed it inside. We then used some liquid silicone for the lubricant. It works great. We just took some camo tape and taped the main body and spraypainted the endcaps green or brown. We then bought some clips just like the clips that are on golf towells and places that around it and then used a simple snap hook to connect the lube tube to our quiver.
