Default Elimitrax??

I was recently flipping through an issue of bowhunter magazine, when I come upon an interesting article for these funny chap looking things that claim to keep absolutely all human odor from transfering to the ground while walking in to your stand. I just got finished checking the website (which is www.elimitrax.com ), and these thing seem pretty interesting. I was actually shocked that being the avid hunter that I am I had never even heard of the Elimitrax system. Has anyone ever used the system, or have any thoughts?? thanks

I was wondering the same thing. Surely someone has tried them before and can let' s know how they work?

Seems like they just came out last year. Looks like a pretty good idea. The only thing I questioned was their durability.

I' ve read where they ' also sell' a pair of sandle
like boot bottoms that just slip on. Though I wear
charcoal lined clothing, and believe it helps with
scent control, I also know nothing is going to
completely eliminate human odor. I' ve worn
rubber boots that were drenched with " no scent
spray" and still seen deer smell where I' ve walked.
I' m having a tough time justifying a extra pair of
slip-on ' thigh high boots' ...I don' t see them working
any better, unless they are majic.

I haven' t seen a price yet, but I' ll bet they' re not
giving them away either...

Some people dont understand that scent mostly comes from small particles of yourself (skin, hair, dandruff, sweat)[X(]. You constantly " shed" parts of yourself off as you walk, run, ect. Unless you are totally enclosed in something like the " scent loc" outfits, head to toe (to help eliminate actual " body odor" ) A pair of oversized boots are not going to eliminate anything[:' (]. They in my opinion dont hurt either.[:-]

They look nice, I like the idea.
100 bucks isn' t so bad considering its a boot also.

I sometimes wear good rubber hip boots - pretty much the same thing.

Rubber does have its own smell, but the scent is not readily transfered to objects it touches. And rubber does not absorb outside odor easily. I have had great results with good clean rubber boots, don' t touch anything, and wear rubber gloves.

I am sure these Elimitrax would work well. Personally I do not like the cloth strap on top of the boot - not the place I want to be grabbing with my smelly hands - and a possible odor catcher - right were it counts.
