Default Opening day Tom's

My buddy (son in law) and I headed out to some public ground in Miami County Kansas. We had two Tom's on the ground by 7:30 am. Called these Tom's about 45 minutes trying to get them to come into our set up off of some private ground. Finally they came in side by side at full strut. We were both at full draw in the blind and I had the first clear shot. I hit the Tom with a Stryker and he bolted forward about 15 yards and layed down. The other Tom went to investagate the downed Tom and my buddy put a great shot on him. After his shot my Tom stood back up and I put another arrow thru him. After a short tracking job both birds were recovered. A awesome Kansas opening day morning. Chris

Good Job Guys! I hunt in Miami County too, were you hunting hillsdale? That place was packed lol, but makes harvesting a bird so much more rewarding.
