Default Goals for next year

So what are some of your goals for next year. I have a few of them.

1. Kill my first deer with my new set up. Last year I changed everything. Bought a new bow, a Hoyt Vtec. Switched arrows from Gold Tips to Easton Axis. Changed from Muzzy's to a mchanical, and went from a whisker bisquit, to the QAD drop away.

2. I want to shoot something out ov my ground blind.

3. Find more land to hunt.

4. Do more scouting.

I will be happy if I am able to harvest something with glass/obsidian heads I knapped out of my IPE/Boo bow I built. Right now it will take the rest of the year to get 4 usable heads.

I've got a pair of does I'll be after.

I'll either return to CO to elk hunt again......or maybe do a spot-and-stalk sheep hunt in TX. Long time to decide.

If I don't get to do a spot-and-stalk wild boar, this year, I'll certainly do it in 2011.

I'm also going to apply for our state's tundra swan archery hunt, again.

After killing a 130 & a 140 whitetail Buck this past season it will be hard to top, but I'll be trying. Also throw in my my 142 Mulie and my season was like a dream.

Not decided if I'll use my points and try to draw an Iowa tag or just purchase another point.

Also planning to Mule Deer hunt in Eastern Co where some Big Boys roam. I've killed 3 Mulies in NE that are all around 140. The last one being the biggest at 142 and feel like I have maxed out in that area.

Whatever I hunt I will be having Fun, planning, scouting, and going for the Kill!!

My goals are simple - Kill deer and have a great time doing it. Anything beyond that is just gravy.
