I'm looking at going to Alberta in the next 1-3 years, Would love to hunt the bow zone, or any other area. Looking for some info on some outfitters or just anything you can think to tell me.

Check out Ron Nemetchek - North River Oitfitters, they kill lots of giants every year.

Bowzone
If your looking to bow hunt the Bowzone then the best outfitter would be Jim Hole Jr, he has the bulk of the bowzone tags and the bulk of the land in which to hunt. You start choosing the other outfitters and you'll see in the size of the deer and the area in which you'll get to hunt . Look over the outfitter your going to choose and make sure you get referrals from them. If they say no then go else where. Good luck and God Bless

Gordon Buford
Your right in a way Gordon, they started allowing shotgun about 6 years ago. You can use shotgun starting in mid October and only Monday through Friday. The Alberta hunters Ass. is trying to reastablish bow only. Not sure when and if it'll be reintroduced, hopefully this year. Some of those muzzel loaders can shoot up to 200 yards now, and when your sitting on stand in the peace and quiet and all of a sudden a guy 70 yards away shoots his shotgun and scares the crap out of you. Hopefully the bow only will be brought back in to affect this year.
