I look forward to a new rig every season and I have owned bows of all makes and models over the past 20 years, but the Z7 stands out as my all-time fav at this point.

For ME, it was alright. Not my first choice in a short hunting bow, but it was nice. Quiet, and pretty much shock free and the draw wasn't bad. Overall it was another nice mathews bow. Nothing super duper stand out, but good. A faster outback with cool gadgets IMHO. They will sell

I talked to the owner of the nearest proshop he said he has already sold 8 z7's.

+1. I've thought about looking into the Z7 but when you have a bow as good as the Switchback, why change. The only benefit I can see for me would be the less overall weight of the Z7. Less weight to carry elk hunting would be nice.

Is that good or bad for your area???

I think my Dealer sold that many the DAY I ordered mine, thats why I'm asking.

love mine more and more every time I shoot it... again... it is a switchback on juice...

I have shot it, its very smooth, I think they could have done better on the speed, I like it because there for a while I thought Mathews was going to the bows with the big valleys on the draws. I like it, I currently shot a DXT and can't put it down.
