You really need to check the teeth. Very difficult to judge from the rack and certainly when you can't see the chest etc. as you could if he was standing. Still a nice animal in any case. Good job!

That 205 was supposed the the DRESSED weight......

My experience from years of hunting this region says this is a 3.5 year old deer with a possibility that it might be a 4.5 year old. 200+ lbs deer are not unheard of in this area, but they are not all that common either (kinda like shooting a 4.5 yr old buck)
Our local "Big Deer Contest" is usually won by a sub-200# deer, and this is in one of OHIO's better counties. I don't see that being a 205# dressed deer unless the OP is 350#.

I can't imagine it is accurate.....I killed a big full rut 4.5yr old up in NW Ohio a few years ago that had a live wt. guestimation of 240#, and he looked a LOT bigger than that deer.

It's a nice deer, and I believe he may be a 3.5yr old as well, but I don't see 205# dressed wt. on that deer.

Im goin with 3.5 hes got too much mass for a 2 year old and his nose is thick, cant see well but it also appears his neck carries into his chest well also. Definitely a shooter, congratulations
