Did you shoot in one Jeff? I've shot in the other tourny Rinehart sponsors (and for the life of me, can't even begin to think of the name) and it was a ton of fun. I want to do the R100 too someday, if my shoulder will stand up to 100 shots!

Well congrats on that! I really enjoyed shooting the tourneys they have sponsored, they seem to be just run a little better than the standard local deals. How was it shooting 100 targets? What kind of time did that take?

Mike:
We shot 50 targets on Sat.....and the remaining 50 on Sunday.
I would "estimate" the African range took less than 2 hours (day 1). I'm betting the NA range took probably twice that. We got there a little late (waited on a good friend). We got behind the "extended pre-shot routine"/"umbrella" crowd.
My friend Page calls it "redneck golf". Fitting.
With no one in front of us......I'm betting 4-6 trad shooters could shoot 50 targets in 2 hours (+/-). I know we can shoot a 20 target course in less than an hour, most times.

I see folks on the rineheart page posting scores of 470's for trad. I can't compete with that. I have never taken a 3d score before, but know I ain't hitting 50 targets with a 470. Can't imagine thats a 100 target score.

I scored a 409 on one course....and a 464 on the other.
Stakes were admittedly short on the NA Range.
I'm guessing the furthest shot was 25yds (African Range).......and the shortest was probably <5yds (rare). Avg. shot distance? 15-18yds.
You can score 400, pretty easily (on one side). I shot "not good" on the 409 side....and really well on the 464 side. I know a lot of guys who only shot one side. I don't know of anyone who shot better than 409 on the African range, but I shot with one shooter who shot better than I did on the NA range (by <10pts).
