Default canadian bowhunting?

Anybody ever go to canada on a bowhunt for whitetail? what does it cost for a non resident to go? do they have public ground or do you have to have a guide? I'd be interested in ontario or manitoba, especially the bow only zone.

a non-resident tag is $190... Ontario is great!! I have no clue about hunting public land, I do not believe you can (not positive though)... But depending on the outfit you go with could range big time in price, I've seen it as high as $4500 for a bow hunt... We pay $1500 for a fantastic hunt, sorry but can't say where.. But check around and do your homework and you will find something that fits you...

Yes, it can get expensive hunting Canada. You MUST have a guide if you're a non-resident alian. The last bowhunt (license included) I was on in Alberta was $5000 round figures. That includes air fare.
