Default Best time to buy target?

im looking to buy a target to practice on during the summer...what would be a good target that will last along time and can have broadheads and field points shot at it...also what time of the year would be the best time to purchase??

i think the majority of targets are now made for broadheads and field tips. I know basspro is having a sale on their website now, but not for sure if there are targets.

I bought the cheap black BassPro foam target this past summer and it was junk. By the third day, my arrows were going completely through it. Spend the extra $ for a well know brand (ie Block).

I've been using a Rinehart 18-1 for 2yrs now, still going strong

exactly how big is the 18-1?? it says 15x15x15 but if thats the whole thing then one "square" is not very big at all...im deciding between a "block" target and the 18-1 now...thanks

this will be my 2nd year of archery..technically my first "off season" so i have not had my own target to shoot at and it will have to be something that is of good size until i hone my skills
