Default My 2009-10 season Recap (Pictures)

Here is my 2009-10 season in a nutshell. Just some pictures of what I have going on as far as setups and everything I only saw like 3 or 4 deer all season so there's no pictures of game sadly. I wish my season went better for me but that's not how the dice rolls.

Hope you guys like them however. Let me know what you guys think. (I was trying to have pictures from every hunt I went on but my mom took her camera back after about 5 hunts hahah!!)

Ryan.

Waiting for Mark to show up and meet me to leave for Maryland.

After Being Unsuccessful in Maryland I came up to PA again and tried my luck up here.

The Tracks Don't Lie.

I'm fairly sure this is the first hunt I did in PA, this is where I saw my giant buck last year, This year it wasn't the case. However It was the only place I saw deer.

The first two are pictures of where I saw my buck last year.

Shot from my climber friends father in laws property they saw a 160 running in here later in the season (was killed in rifle season). My genius self forgot that I needed a bow holder because I wasn't in one of my pre-hung stands. So I got to sit there and hold it all night.

another one from hunt 4 Trying to stay positive. Its tough sometimes but hey If its the passion that you have, Its not a problem to stay positive when your not doing as well as you had hoped.

All In all I dont consider my season a failure. I saw a few deer. 3 or 4. Took about 25 hunts but I finally saw a one horned spike. Then the last day of the season I saw a doe and a spike not sure if I saw another spike they were too far anyhow. I would have been tickled shooting a doe but thats how it goes.

Sometimes your Up and sometimes your Bust. And when your up its never as good as it seems and when your down it feels like you'll never be able to get back up again but life goes on.

Hopefully my 2010 season will be a lot more productive. I hope that I can score something for my team I still can hunt in PA and MD but I Dont have the time to. The bottom line is I'm safe and didn't have any major incidents to speak of. Not like last year where the guy pulled a Gun on me.... That was a scary day in the stand.

That sounds awesome and everything but door to door I have around 290 bucks in the entire trip that includes campsite eating WELL, gas, liscense, everything you need. lol and 290 is a high estimate. How much ballpark would it cost me?

Ryan.
