I really like the double D edge. The 1769 is a great knife, guess it depends on how long of a blade you prefer.
I have'nt seen the drop point knife, but I'm sure it's just as good. Lifetime guarantee on their knives, and they'll sharpen them if you send it in. |
What if your like me and can't afford to pay 80 bucks for a knife? I really just straight up can't afford to pay that much. Maybe half that and then that would be iffy and dependant on how the 2 weeks between pays goes haha. Any suggestions for the 0-40 dollar range?

my allround knife thread
I posted something familiar in the gear section on HNI,
http://www.huntingnet.com/forum/bowh...oorsknife.html there's a reply for a cheap knife from sloodslapper. I surfed the net for about two weeks now looking at different knives and I came up with this as specs for an allround knife; blade 4 to 5" thickness 3/16" non serrated edge full tang VG-10 steel or V3 handle micarta or rubber I have narrowed it down to the two fallkniven knives in my first thread but I could well end up buying them both depending on the typed of hunt or bushcraft I am off on.... Even though I am sure they are a Great knife, I would never spend that much money on one. To each their own, and if someone was so inclined I say more power to you.
I spend more money on Bows, blinds, and Camo than most would:party0005: My Schrade Bearpaw has served me very well for the past 40 years. I do have other knives, but it's still my favorite.:happy0001: Dan |
What did that one run you dan? And do they still make it?
