Default Blessed with a doe,

I haven't been lurking on the site for quite awhile due to some personal problems but I did do some hunting and was able to take a doe on the 2nd day of rifle season in NY (Hunted with the bow). That's 2 deer in the last 2 years...for me that's great as I have gone many seasons without. Anyway I put a perfect shot on her, double lung and she went about 45 yards and was down (My 1st pass through). I am really pleased by the shot because last year I spined a buck and he suffered for awhile before I could finally finish him off. That weighed heavily on my mind for a year.

most people dont think a doe is "much", but i think its awsome you spend the time in the woods, let one fly true, and recovered your deer!!well done!! 2 deer with a bow in 2 years...your spankin my stats!!!and i play hard and often.

remember ...something gave its life so another could live!!!!

Good tasting doe, congrats!! I love me some juicy does!

I spined a couple deer and had to get down immediately to finish them off. I can't stand to see them suffer.
