I would personally leave it alone or not shoot it in 1st place with a broken tine. I've passed a couple of shooters that were busted up in the past.

One got shot and the guy fixed it. When I went to look at the mount it had a drop tine added. The guy said he never killed a drop tine buck and since he was having it fixed anyway he thought he'd have it added. Too Funny!!!

agreed, leave it the way it is

this brings up a good side point...i was watching whitetail freaks, i believe it was, dude shoots a big 8 in late season archery...he goes to lift the deer's head up, and the whole main beam on the right side comes off in his hand...question now, how does it score after he pulled it off? Just a big 4?

i saw that also...that was really strange. i don't know the answer to your question though.

i say if you want to fix it then do so. i would! my dad and brother each had one fixed, no shame at all in it! IT IS YOUR TROPHY NO ONE ELSES!
