A while bac,and im not really sure if i read it here on this Forum or not,there was a Thread wondering if the Owner of The Outdoor Channel,was a Gold Prospector,because of the difference in Time Alottment' s,between Hunting and Gold Prospecting.Well i was Talking to a Gold Prospector today,and the Answer became quite evident,Tom and Perry Massie,OWN the Outdoor Channel! AHHH,now it' s becoming clearer! Did anyone else know this?

I' d bet one is more likely to strike gold than kill the next world record whitetail as well.

I did not know that, but that really does explain alot. Everytime I turn on my tv to watch some good hunting footage, all I find is gold prospecting or paid programming trying to sell me some workout equipment for $19.95 a month for 7 years.

I had always heard that too, and thought it explained why the prime spots were full of hour long gold prospecting shows. Either way it is still a pretty cool channel, Im watching it now.

that explains it ! if people want to watch gold prospecting thats fine just NOT SO MUCH!!!!! AND MORE BOWHUNTING!!!!
