First 8 Point
Got my first 8 point this morning with my bow. I am stoked. I spooked a group of does heading in plenty before sun up. I got settled in and at about 6:45 I saw this guy walking inside the woodline at the field edge. He went further up and then slowy made his way back toward me. I drew at about 25 yds as he went behind tree. He was quartering to me severely but then he turned at gave me a perfect broadside angle right at 20yds. Made a good shot, high lung entry exiting middle of the far side. It was my first pass though too. I had a few spine shots and one into the shoulder. The three blade rage did a number and he only went 15 yds or so. It's He only looks like a 7 pointer at first glance, but his left side brow tine has a 90 degree bend backwards. Gonna get him mounted.
