I am going out in a little bit here for an evening sit. There is a 26mph wind tonight. I have 2 places I could sit, one is in a small strip of trees right next to a fresh cut corn Field, but not plowed under yet. It would be VERY windy here. The other is down in a over grown gravel pit, where the wind would not be as bad. Where would you sit. These 2 spots are about 150 yards apart.

Well, I went to the stand by the corn Field. If I would have known how frikin windy and cold it was really going to be, I wouldnt have done that. I ended up seeing 7 deer. About 5:00, I did a couple of grunts, and then got the rattle bag out. As soon as I started tattling, 2 bucks took off towards the pit, they were less then 30 yards from me, and I never even knew it. Oh well, always next time.
