Default HSS sizing question

Well guys im looking into getting a Hunter Saftety System. I currently have the safety system that gorilla makes and i dont really care for it to much. Im going to be getting the pro model and had a question. How do the sizes run? I plan on getting one online off of ebay so i cant really try it on before i buy it. Im about 5'11 and weigh 160. I was thinking on the L but wasn't sure any help would be greatly appreciated.

Two points to ponder, there was a redesign for 2009, not sure if the ebay units are current model year. Also do you really want to buy a pc of safety equipment from an auction site where you have no consumer protection to really speak of?

Not sure if they are that cheap on ebay, I bought a 2009 Proseries on line this season, lg/xl, and I paid around $100. Right now that same site has it for $110. How much will you save on ebay?

For what its worth, I'm a husky guy, about 5' 9 1/2 and weigh 220, the l/xl fits me with plenty of room to spare. You're taller and a lot lighter, call HSS and ask them. To work properly safety equipment has to fit.

So I just checked ebay and found them for 107.95, for another 2 bucks I go with a place that will provide service and recourse, regardless of if they "misrepresented" an item or not. My two cents, good luck! They're an awesome pc of equipment, I love it

With your height and weight I'd go with l/xl

I'm around 5'9 185 and I initially got the s/m, which I sent back and got the l/xl... The s/m was way too tight to put a coat or anything under it. The l/xl will be loose, but with a coat it fits fine.

I'm a big guy, so I have the biggest one they make, but the size you want also can be determined by which layer you want to wear it as. Me, it is my second layer, I wear a light undershirt (Under Armour coldgear) and then my harness. With that, I don't need any extra room, although I have plenty. If I bought a new one, I would get one size smaller. If you have a store near you that would let you try them on, that would be the best way to do it.
