Default My back yard,

My back yard, early morning yesterday. It was about 8am.

Sorry I had to take the shots through the windows, opening a door would have had them leaving in a quick hurry.

There is 2 but one is just out of view behind the building on the right.

Have several very large white oaks in the yard that attract them.

There is 9 motel cabins in a semi circle behind the main house, one cabin is in the back yard, you can see it in the picture and the deer are actually in front of it. Couple of my tenants have left for work for the day by then but most of them are still in their rooms when I took the pictures. The gentlemen living in the room in the back yard is home, the noise, people moving around doing this and that doesn't bother them as long, as no one opens a door.

Funny thing is I drive 44 miles round trip to my land to hunt!

Last year at this time, I guess I can't post the pictures larger but if you look you can see them standing just to the right of the large oak at back of the yard between the two buildings. Slightly left of dead center of the picture.

Clicking on the pictures makes them a little bigger, the board allows a jpeg of 620x280 so its not a big help no.

Yea lots of people have deer in their yard, nothing special about that no, and not the reason for my post.

My wife laughs at me, thinks its easy to get close to deer because she see's them in the yard. That and I drive several miles to hunt at another property.

She knows I have no intention of hunting here, have 8 acres here at the house and could but the yard and surrounding grounds around it are a safe haven for em. If they want them acorns bad enough to chance coming in this close to all the people they can have all they want and no harm will come to them.

Haven't had much time to hunt yet, work and dang rain lately, but I did see one fairly nice buck and shot a good size doe so far, all in good time no rush..........yet!

I get deer in my back yard all summer and winter, just not during hunting season, go figure lol. You need to change the size of pic on your camera so they will be bigger when you take them. You can always make them smaller and still keep the clarity, but trying to make them bigger when there small distorts them.
