like the title says of your experience which broadhead flys like a fieldpoint?

The truth is no broadhead flies like a field point but some are better than others and more forgiving.A broadhead will always be more prone to wind planing and flying off course due to torque or other variables like wind.

The key is to tune your bow and arrow combo so that MOST broadheads will impact with FP's when conditions are perfect so that when they are not perfect,you still have a better than average chance of making a quality shot on game.


Generaly speaking,smaller cut heads and shorter profiles along with mechanicals will be the closest to a field point.

nearly all manufacturers claim they fly like fielpoints. And they typically will, IF the bow is tuned properly. A poorly tuned bow will even fling mechanicals off coarse.

I'm pretty new to bowhunting, been shooting for a few years now. Anyways, I can say that Spitfires have shot well for me. That's just one suggestion.

Slicktricks seriously fly better then any broadhead I have ever shot.

Depends on how your bow is tuned.

People often blame the broad heads when the fact is most will fly well. The larger the head the more air it will catch and therefor must be tuned properly. So either tune the bow or use a low profile head so you can get away with an untuned arrow.

Like others have said, if your bow is tuned right, then any one should. That being said, I have had the best experience with G5 Strykers and slick tricks. As well as my bow is tuned, I still cant get Muzzys to fly right.

Wow that makes me feel better, i guess i'm not as big of a failure as i thought, eithier that, or you and me are in the same boat:confused0024:. Anyway i vote ABC sonics. Great broadheads..

Sometimes muzzys won't fly worth a darn because of the consruction. The Trocar tip may not thread onto the furrel square. Spin test the muzzy. If the tip wobbles it may not fly well even out of a perfectly tuned bow. If you get a good set of muzzys they are very nice heads!

G5 striker mags work well for me...

Thats funny, the muzzy bh flies the best out of my bow. A couple of my buddies and I all bought a different kind of bh last year and shot all of them. But I still liked the groups from the muzzy best. Just my opinion.
