Did your buddy press charges? Sounds like assault and jail time to me.

We live in a rural area and whickey flows, especially at parties. I doubt the guy who got hit has a mean bone in his body to press charges, but regardless....it shows the character of the person who started it.

My father always told me that what comes around, goes around....and I will make damn sure that that family knows me very well, as well as what I am going to put up with and how I will deal with it. I will catch one of the dogs, and rescue it! give it to a family who will take care of it...

It's the law and goes back to when livestock roamed free. If you didn't want cattle in your yard you'd better fence it in. Touch the beast and you'll pay for it. A person can collect on any damages the beast did.

Do I believe it? No, I think I even thought "I can't believe this" doesn't change the law and you maybe a hound but... You would be in trouble and from the law would be the best scenario these days. Worlds full a freaks and fairies.
