Default max yardage on a deer

Whats your max yardage on a deer. Lets say they have no idea your there. Perfect quarter away, either from a tree stand or ground whatg ever you want. IF your poundage changes this feel free to give your max poundage. Also there is little to no wind

Since this is my first year with a bow, I voted 30. I'm not confident shooting past 30.

Depends on the day. Most of the time It's In that 20 yard range with my recurve.

35 for me, and only under perfect circumstances.

i really dont know if i would wanna take a shot out past 30 unless the conditions are perfect i am sighted in at 40 but it would have to be a giant deer on the last day and a perfect day to do that

You know just last evening I was shooting @ 55 yards and doing pretty well, but I still say 30 maybe 35 tops. Frankly, I like to shoot 'em under 20.

Who said it? "Bowhunting isn't about how far, its about how close."

Things would have to be perfect and exact yardage known. I am in the kill zone 9 out of 10 with my 50 yard pin, softball size groups. However I have never taken a shot past 30 yards.

I'm confident with my shot placement to 60 yards and would take it given the proper circumstances. Normally for the maximum efficiency of my bow with my heavy arrows 45 is about max.
25 with my recurve, unless I'm shooting at a bird flying with a flu flu.
