Well, this is the day we have all been waiting for we have hung our stands, plotted our lands, and become undetectable to the game we hunt. I don't know about anyone else but I was crushed to wake up and see flashes of lightning from the sky. My stands now wait as do I for this stupid lightning to clear. The opening day has been shaping up nice in North Central Iowa with cool weather good wind and some rain to quiet down the ground. All i do now is wait any tips to pass the time I'm running out of hunting DVD's.

Also I found a way to simulate THE SHOT. Yesterday I was out shooting and I was in a hurry so between shots I ran to my target and back to my bow which got my heart rate up and made me a little shaky. This is a good way to practice on your nerves and keeping your stuff under control.
