Default Any success?

Anyone use a fawn distress call to call in does in the early bow season? Any success with this?

Yeah I used a bleat can last night. I had a mature doe come running right in until she winded me and turned back around. The wind just wasn't right. The big doe I shot last year I called in with my distress bleat can.

Anyone else have any input in regards to this tactic?

I had a doe and a fawn walk past me last season but was waiting for one of the bucks that had been bedding in the same location. When he didn't follow them out after a few minutes I noticed the fawn was falling behind the doe and let out a bleat. The doe stopped in her tracks and immediately came back towards the fawn.
