Default Look what showed up on camera

Western Rowan County, NC

I went out to check the camera and this is what I found, a big mature mainframe 6 with a small G3 on the left side. By far the biggest, most mature buck I've seen on this property. Just wanted to share.

That is a GREAT deer!

Seems like your camera is making some noise? He got spooked

As far as I can tell, there is no noise, however the infrared LEDs do emit a red glow and I believe that seems to be what spooked him. Being a 4.5-6.5 year old deer, he's a little more skiddish then the others, I have numerous videos of mature does and yearlings that dont pay it any attention.

red light is not visible to deer...if you want to check this take a camera and set it to black and white then cut on a red light in front of it...you cant see it...i think he might have smelled the camera...if it was his first time in to this site...he might not have known what it was...it might have clicked on...
