been a life member since March of 2003
have tested a battery operated lantern, some bug spray, and a knife so I wouldn't say the product testing is all that great. But the magazine is fantastic and I don't have to worry about a bill for that any more. That was my main reason to spend the money for a life membership, I don't have to renew my magazine subscription.

I have been a Life member for ......
I have tested a number of things

Some were junk like a multi tool that broke the first time I tryed to open it

But I also tested a Austin & Halleck muzzel loading shotgun and a nice Gerber brush tool

Oh BTW if they send you ANYTHING without you asking for it or ordering it
Simply box it back up in the original package
And write REFUSED on the box
And put it back in your mail box

Who ever sent it pays the postage to return it

After refusing 2 or 3 books
I have never gotten another

I was a member of that, got like 8 books when I was 12-13, also did the fishing thing and got fish hooks to test. I don't subscribe to any of that now.
