I think everyone is missing the point. A crossbow holds the bow at full draw. A compound bow has to be drawn in order to shoot. Let off is not the issue. Having a high percent let off is nice but I think people are missing a big part of the question. Just my 2 cents!:)

nope, i have a 75% let off bow and have had two deer run on the draw compared with a cross bow were you dont have to worry about any of that stuff....not even a close one.

I' d like to thank everbody that took the time to vote.;)
looks like 100% beleive that the higher letoff bows, shouldn' t even be compared to a xbow. :D
