Smile The best broadhead for me?

I shoot at 40 Ibs and can't see myself going any higher. Was just wondering which head you'd recommend?

I have muzzy 3 blade which i haven't used yet but i was told with my shooting at 40Ibs i should use something like the rage KE or the magnus stinger/buzzcut?

Are pre assembled broadheads better?

I just want what is going to do the job better since my KE energy is not going to be that of a mans.

Thanks

id definitely recommend a 2 blade cut on contact like a magnus stinger for low energy setups...with a head like that you shouldnt have a problem with penetration with a good shot...will likely see a pass through with a good hit...

Stingers or regular magnus 2 blade would fit the bill nicely! They are great heads!

Good luck!

Would you recommend them more than rage just because im shooting a low poundage?

I'd stay away from Rage. I know a lot of people love them, I was scared away by horror stories of them opening in flight. Mechanicals throw another variable into the equation. Keep it simple. Your broadhead should be the last thing you have to worry about when you take a shot at an animal.

Forget the Rage. Check out the Phat heads or the Razor tricks.

I highly recommend phantoms for your setup. Or any cut on contact. Forget mechanicals.

Yeah baby.... thats what Katie (my girl) is shooting this fall... she shoots an Ignition at 47#s. I'd hate to be the deer that gets within 25 yards of her.

Slick Tricks are awesome! Those phat heads are very similar.

+1 A super sharp cut on contact head is what you need.
