I also like to be in my stand early, an hour or so before first light on morning hunts. Hence the username.:s2: For an evening hunt, I'll be in my stand by no later than 2:00PM

Our season opens October 17th I'm in my stand now using wifi.
30 to 45 min before first light.
30-45 minutes before first light, and for evenings 3-4 hours before sunset. Once it gets toward the end of Oct, I'll probably be on stand all day.
I like to be on stand right at first light. In the evenings I like to be setup by thress and stay until dark. Never know what might happen that last 15 minutes of light. have learned that the hard way

Atleast thirty minutes before sunrise if not more, and atleast 4 hours before sunset, all day during the rut as much as possible just depends if my son is with me
In the evenings I like to get in around 4-4:30 in the summertime hours, and 3-330 after daylight savings time. Kind of hard to intercept them on their way to the field when they're already in the fielld before you show up. :D In the morning, 30 minutes before shooting light for me. |
I like to be settled in to my stand before light is breaking in the morning. If I move in the afternoon, I like to be in place a couple of hours before dusk.
I am usually in my stand about 45 minutes before daylight if it is a morning hunt. Afternoon hunts, I like to be in stand about 4 hours before dark. One thing I experimented with the past few seasons was going into stand around 11 a.m. following nights that there was was a full moon and hunting till dark. Deer movement was awesome between 12 and 4 p.m. on these days!

Depends on my stand. Most of my stands, I want to be in the stand atleast 45 mins before legal shooting. I do have some stands like my friends back yard I just need to get in the run down shed at legal shooting hours.
