I was thinking maybe surveyor too.

I haven't a clue as to why a land surveyer would be on the property. You could see where someone had driven around the gate also. Really not sure what is going on with this one. Here is the full scale picture though.

Take the pic to the county sheriff or the local D.O.T see what they say.

Looks like a forestry contractor vehicle. take the pic to your local warden office and see if they have any vehicles like that. remember if it was the dnr, they dont need permision to go onto OUR land. Even though we own it, we really have very little control over it.

It looks as though it say either Jefferson County, or Jefferson Survey.

DNR or surveyer, Either one has permission to go where ever they please as long as its work related.

If you look closely the driver, he has a patch on his sholder. diffentely law or forest something.....

Looks like a game warden to me.
