Antler growth

I've been keeping tabs on this buck since it started developing antlers,hoping it would eventually grow into a good sized non-typical....not to be though this year.This last picture shows all it's going to be this season.Hopefully it'll be around next year.

Very odd looking no doubt. From what I understand about why his horns are like that is because he must have an injury on the opposit side of his body. When that happens it causes the antler on the other side to be deformed. I have been told this allot and have only ever seen it once that would make that statment be true. He looks pretty skinny still also.
