LOL.. just because hes a game commissioner doesnt mean he knows how to score a deer.. Hell alot of car dealers work with cars everyday too, but some of them dont know a damn thing about cars either...

That particular game commissioner doesnt know how to score very well if he thinks that 8 pointer is going to go 190... an 8 point going 190 would be one long tined thick beamed wide spread monster... not saying it cant be done.. but it would look a hell of a lot bigger than that deer you posted.. (not taking anything away from the brute you posted, hes a monster as well)

Very big 8pt. I believe 145+ bot not exceeding 150. It is hard to tell with those pics. Shoot him and then let us see close ups!

Ditto I'm scoring as if no velvet present.

I'm not going to beat the dead horse, but giving the picture being not so clear, it looks to me like these pics were taken when he was still in velvet. if that is the case, a lot of the mass were seeing will fall off. I say he will score between 130 and 140

I must be just distrustful of law enforcement, but the warden is just about the last person I would show. No need for him to be talking to other hunters about that deer and its location, and now him knowing where it is too, so he can be crawling up your ass all season while u try to get that buck.

I would give that deer 150" Score notwithstanding, he's a beautiful buck, and as an 8-point, a real freak.

ANY 8-point (sans "junk") that scores 150" is a complete freak of nature!

To me (not that I've ever or WILL ever see one from stand), that's the Mendoza line for slammer 8-pointers.

Can anyone post up a 160" 8? 170" 8? Bigger? I'd like to see one (Not saying they don't exist.....just saying I'd like to see one!). Sans any junk....a true 8.
