Default Striker or Tekan?

I am thinking of trying the Striker or Tekan this year, I know lots of people have great things to say about the striker, but i am curious about blade retention. For some reason my arrows are fletched to the left (came like that from the factory), and I lost a blade in a broadhead once. I think it was because the head relied on the ferrule being screwed into the arrow to hold the blades in. With fletching offset to the left I think the arrow slightly unscrewed itself on impact, so I am leary of this happening again. Does the striker rely on the arrow to keep the blades in place?

Also the does anyone have any accounts of the blades not opening up or the blades opening in flight for the tekan?

ive never seen tekan blades open during flight, I missed a deer and put one of my tekans into a tree last year. I carved it out of the tree and of course the rear deploy blades were destroyed but the made cutting head took and little bit of sharpening and I plan on using it again this year. Tough breadheads

I was going to buy me some g5 last year, but I found the best broadhead for the money the muzzy 100 grain.

Tekans have treated me well, no complaints here. I also shoot Strikers but my head of choice this year will be the Tekans.

I go with strikers, I have seen tekans fail a few times, and I am no fan of that, then again I am strictly a fixed head guy.
