RE: Anyone Use Scott Releases?
I shoot the mongoose off a loop and I love it. Tough release. I have bigger hands and I like the feel of it better than the little goose. I would definately go with the buckle, the velcro is noisy and if you don' t get it pushed down real good it will pop off about half draw.

RE: Anyone Use Scott Releases?
I shoot the Little Goose with the velcro strap. I really like mine. I do agreed with others that the velcro is a little noisy. I just put mine on before going to the treestand. Well worth the $$. Oh, I shoot off the string last season (string wear), but I added a string loop this year. Works perfectly.

RE: Anyone Use Scott Releases?
I used to shoot the calipers... but when I went to the loop I found it a little bit of a tight fit, plus the shoulder of the release could knock the arrow off the string if you turned it all just right while sitting in a tree. I switched to the Lil Goose and like it lots. I have two of them and they' re handy with the one moveable jaw with the hook for catching the loop. Keep them clean.

RE: Anyone Use Scott Releases?
After shooting a rope release for over 10 years I just switched to the little goose off the string and really like it. I hunted and shot 3-D with the rope release and it had a velcro strap. Last year during the late archery season here in Pa. I was hunting in near zero temp and undid my velcro strap to adjust my glove, I cut the thumb and forefinger out, when I put my velcro strap back on I inadvertantly got the cuff of the glove between the velcro layers. A shooter responed to rattling and at about full draw it gave loose and my arrow rattled down through the woods. My little goose has a buckle strap!
