My family has 100 acres backed up against miles of timberland owned by big timber companies, we have some pretty nice bucks but it's rough country and they're hard to get to.

I bowhunt in the north eastern tip of Wyoming Co right in the smack middle of the four county bow-only area of WV. Alot of big bucks are taken out of my home county each year. I love WV! If you love the outdoors then WV is a paradise for you.

yeah like concord, im one of the lucky few in that 4 archery only counties, I Live and Hunt in Premier, WV...Mcdowell county...great to see how many people from the state of WV on here... Good luck to everyone this season!!

I'd love to hunt in those four bow only counties. Is there any public land down that way??

yeah down here its mainly what it is!!..... if you see a hollow that is really deep you can hunt it because half the land here is owned by logging companies that only use it if they have to!.... but there are alot of public places to hunt here, the best if private owned cause no one hunts there, great places for the big boys.... ill post ya some pics on my deer on my next thread show ya a couple of mine and dads deer from here!!

north central wv here, hunt the relatives farms and my girlfriends dads farms. Right now while Im at WVU me and my buddy will be hunting Coopers Rock(17 inch minumun spread) and Snake Hill(WMA). Someone needs to make sure to post a thread here in a few weeks to see all the does us hillbillies down on the early season

Sorry for another post but, hey southern west virginia guys i got a chance to hunt down in Cabwaylingo park this year. Do they got some nice deer down in there??

im in morgantown at wvu, ill be hunting coopers rock, maybe ill be lucky enough to stick an arrow into a nice buck, itll be tough with the 14" spread law
