Default Shaking help...

ill admit that when shooting a bow (or a rifle for that matter) i tend to shake alot and it affects my shot. i am a new bow hunter and i was sighting in my bow and i was alllll over the place today. what are some tips or tricks to help with keeping steady or just ways to prevent it??thanks!

this is completely normal. become familiar with your float pattern. in rifle or bow shooting, you will generally consistantly "shake" in the same pattern. If you dont, lower your draw a bit. a good test is to sit on the ground with your legs out and draw your bow straight back. if you have to lift your legs up or move to copensate, you are drawing too heavy.

Watch video and pay special attention to arm positioning,not just the hand positioning.Notice the bone to bone alignment he speaks of.That is a crucial part of stability in the shot/aiming sequence.

I agree about the float as well.Trust it and don't fight it.

If your draw length isn't correct,this will be hard to do.

how am i sure my draw length is correct?? i had it shortened recently...my nuckle comes to my ear and the string to my nose....
