Default daughter shooting

My daughter hasn't shot a bow in over a year, maybe 2 but today I got her out there to atleast get the bow mt stepdad bought her a few months ago sighted in.She is 15 so there is a million other things going on in her life.

Some obvious form issues but way better than I thought she would be after such a long lay off.She actually shot very well.I was real pleased with how well the 2 blade Magnus Stingers flew with field points too.

Hopefully she will find time to join me in the woods this season along with her younger brother.

Elbow isn't getting back, might need to increase her loop length a tad.But the important thing is she is shooting.

She started closing her eye on me again but when she opened it,she was hitting the same poi so it is something she will have to back in the habit of doing.

Working with Kids and Newbies is a lot of Fun!! I taught both my girls to shoot. It's something they never forget.

Enjoy TFOX!

For now,I am just going to make sure she can kill a deer and not hurt herself. The rest I ain't fretting over.

That's awesome! I got a 12 year old that wants to hunt, so I bought a PSE Nova off my nephew, and even though it's shortstrung, she still can pull it back yet. Lucky for her, Michigan just legalized the use of crossbows, so I' can get her started hunting this year, and hopefully she'll be able to pull back the compound and start shooting it next year.

Thanks for sharing.

If you look at the limbs where they come out of the pockets on this bow,you will notice they are backed way out.I had to get longer flathead screws so I could lower the poundage(safely) low enough for her to pull this bow back.

It is a 40-50 pounder on 36#'s.

That is cool, form is not bad at all for not shooting for some time. Bet she is excited to get out into the deer woods.
