Default Shoot other Animals

Do you shoot anyother animal [if legal] while deer hunting out of your treestand or blind? Myself I don't or haven't but if I had a chance at a yote I thing I would take it.

i always think about it, but never have done it fearing i would possibly ruin a great hunt.... ive had chances to shoot yotes before though.

Depends.... During early season right before I get out of the stand, I have shot a few racoons..

HOWEVER, I will shoot a coyote any time any place!!!!!!!!

I've successfully shot a coyote, grouse, Ringneck Pheasants (all legal) and shot at turkeys.

I'll never pass a shot on a yote or turkey when legal.

I would shoot any animal thats legal from my stand, I don't just limit myself to deer! My hunt can change from one hunt to another and even another in a blink of an eye, thats why I carry all kinds of arrows with different tips!

I have shot elk, bear, yote and turkey all from my whitetail stands and or ground blinds. Hope to get to kill a wolf this year in Idaho, they are still saying we are gonna get to hunt em but I wont count on it till the season is here! Like to have a mountain lion come by someday as well, that would be cool.

I've been tempted to nail a noisy PIA squirrel on occasion but held off fearing a deer might catch the movement.Once I had a bear cub about the size of a raccoon scoot past that would have been a gravy shot but couldn't see shooting the little booger.Had papa come by...
