Default Public or Private land

Just wondering where people hunt, public or private.

I hunt public land here in MN. State forests and wildlife management areas.

Not by choice, but because I have no other option.

I hunt 2 small farms (around 25-30 acres each timber), and one large timber (250 acres). I"ve been fortunate to get those around here... GOOD land though. If you can find some public that is outback it can be just as good though.

I hunt both, private and public land. I see a lot more deer on my private land and it offers less hunting pressure, but on the flip side I saw the biggest deer of my 2008 season on public land. I tend to hunt both evenly.

I hunt both, we have a 500 acre farm that is bordered on 2 sides by a 13,500 acre wildlife managment area. Were pretty lucky its over 3/4 mile to the nearest road, so I hardly ever see anyone walking the boundries.

Private land. I have three farms I hunt that are within 2-3 miles of each other. Two of them butt up against each other.
