Try a strip or two of Bacon per pound!!!!! Makes 'em the BOMB!!!

Same reply you got elsewhere, , but it's a good one nonetheless!!!!

I will be eating the same in just a few hours. Well, not the same deer, but some wonderful NW Ohio doe burger!
I will tell you something else that makes it incredible!
Flatten all your burger out in a big patty, then shake on salt and fresh ground pepper all over it ( to your taste), then... the clincher... take a bunch of Mustard seeds ( not the ground mustard, but the whole seeds). Shake a bunch of them on there, then knead, it, roll it, mix it, fondle it, kiss it and ... Ok I guess it isn't that beautiful, you can skip the last 2 steps!
Seriously, the salt/pepper and the mustard seeds make it almost taste like a fresh ground sausage patty. It is amazing. I also like to add worshtersire sauce, or A-1 sauce into it sometimes also. But it is great with just the first recipe,
Great on the grill, even better on a campfire! It is great when you bite into a seed and it pops, the flavor is amazing. Try it... you'll like it!
