Has anyone seen the story on Outdoor Life's web site about a non typical buck found dead that is suppose to score over 400"? The story sounds suspect to me. Anyone have any insight to the trueth?

do you really need insight to confirm that the rack pictured is an obvious fake? Cant you see the large brow tine and additional base facing the opposite direction......

But I tell ya some people are growing some really crazy bucks right now, something like this would not surprise me much from a penned deer..

I guess it could always happen, but that one just don't look real.. Hopefully we'll find out for sure one day.

I have no idea if it's legit or not, but if you read the story on the website, it explains the additional antler in the photo. It was found locked in the rack. Here are some photos of the rack without the extra antler:


World record? I don't know, but I'd probably have to change my skivvies if I saw a buck like this walking towards me.
